Analytics

TaxBase uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites. All data is aggregated and no individual visitor can be identified.

Plausible is GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant by default. No consent banner is required because no personal data is collected and no cookies are set.

What we do not collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, or any personally identifiable information through our website. Calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers.

Affiliate links

Some pages contain affiliate links to third-party services such as Xero, FreeAgent, and QuickBooks. When you click an affiliate link, you leave TaxBase and are subject to the privacy policy of the destination website. We have no control over how those third parties handle your data.

Email subscriptions

If you voluntarily subscribe to our email updates, your email address is stored securely in ConvertKit. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. We will never share your email address with third parties or use it for purposes other than sending the updates you signed up for.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone. Period.
